it's not fun having to take care of sick babies. especially when they can't tell you what's wrong. mikhai was sick all weekend and none of the medicines that we were giving him were making any difference. well, the tylenol would bring his fever down for a few hours, but that's about it. the coughing and congestion were still causing him problems. when monday morning at 1:00 am he woke up and still had a fever i decided that he needed to go see the doctor and get some stronger drugs. the doctor gave him zythromax and as soon as that stuff hit his system, mikhai was a much happier camper. he hadn't eaten or drank anything all weekend really, but monday night he actually ate dinner and went through two cups of pedialyte during the night. yesterday i called ms. tee to see how he had acted at her house and she said that he was a drinking fool. every time that she turned around he was at the fridge wanting more to drink. last night he went through one cup of straight pedialyte and two cups of half pedialyte and half milk. that's fine and dandy except that i have to get up in the middle of the night and get the darn thing for him! lol.
OH! language! i believe that my son said DAMN the other day. i was talking to my mom at lunch and said it and i believe that my son repeated me. so, aunt jojo, aunt dawn and anyone else who reads this and has contact with my son....please start watching your language cuz the little monster is smart enough to remember and repeat later.
i don't know if i have mentioned yet that i started back at LSP last month. this past weekend was the Breeder's Cup and we had to be at the park at 9:30 am and i think i clocked out at 10:30 pm. that was 13 hours straight being on my feet and running back and forth between tables constantly. you know, there are nights that i have a few minutes free time and i have compared the duties of a waiter/waitress to those of a walk-about (that's what i do). i think we do a hell of a lot more work for our money than they do!!!!! but that's just my opinion. lol.
